Providing a welcome banner at your convention headquarters location. (Requests for banners must be received one week prior to your event in order to fulfill all requests.

Arranging for room blocks in our hotels/motels.

Acting as a central reservation service for attendees who require our assistance in locating a room.

Putting together a "Magic Minot" hospitality packet for each attendee to your convention. The packet will include a Minot vacation guide (which includes a restaurant guide, calendar of events, and city map), Minot coupon book for citywide discounts, appropriate CVB member brochures, and any other information your organization would like to include. (Information to be included in the packets must be in our office two weeks prior to your convention date).

Helping coordinate shuttle bus service between motels and hotels, convention facilities, and shopping facilities. (Shuttle bus requests need to be submitted at least 14 working days prior to the date needed).

Powerpoint projector rental $75/day.

Providing name badges for your delegates, spouses, and guests. We pre-type advance registration name badges with your event name on the inserts. (The information must be in our office two weeks prior to your convention). We can also provide on-site equipment for printing name badges.

Arranging for site visits to hotels and convention facilities.

Contacting hotels and convention facilities to arrange formal bid proposals and/or make personal bid presentations to your organization.

Arranging for tours of the city and surrounding area.

Assisting in arranging media publicity. Fill out and submit the press release worksheet. A press release will be created from the information provided and our office will submit it to local media.

Assisting in locating entertainment for spouses and guests.

Providing a free copy of our Speaker & Entertainment Guide.
