Downtown Gathering Place Public Input Meeting
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Oak Park Amphitheater 1300 4th Ave NW Minot, ND
The City of Minot and the Minot Park District are seeking input and ideas from the public on activities and uses they would like to see held at the proposed Gathering Place in downtown Minot, as well as the physical components that should be included in the design of the venue. A public input meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 13, 2018 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Oak Park Amphitheater, 1300 4th Ave NW in Minot.
The Gathering Place is a project funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant National Disaster Resilience grant received by the City of Minot and is proposed in the HUD-approved Action Plan as a park-focused venue which can serve as a focal point in downtown Minot for programs, activities, uses, and gathering space for all residents of the City of Minot. This publicly-owned place is envisioned to be a destination venue for a variety of year-round activities. Please join us on June 13 at Oak Park to share your thoughts and ideas on the potential activities and infrastructure associated with your Gathering Place.
