Storytellers

For our season finale concert, the story of One Thousand and One Nights comes to life with Rimsky Korsakov’s Scheherazade. This symphonic suite will carry you away with the musical impression of wondrous fairy tales from the Orient. We will also feature our very own principal cellist Dr. Erik Anderson performing the most well-known and monumental cello concerto in the

repertoire, Dvorák’s Cello Concerto in B Minor. The program opens with Jubilare! A joyful overture by living American composer John Stevens.
