Nature's Nook hosts Make Your Own Potato Clock

A potato clock runs by converting chemical energy into electrical energy, which is then used to power a clock. The potatoes, in combination with zinc and copper strips (which act as electrodes), act as a battery. Most people aren't aware that this is possible, which is what makes it so much fun.
All materials will be supplied. Ages 5 yrs + There will be a discussion on the sceince relating to the WHY it works.

Tickets: $20 per person (plus tax and fees)

Space is limited! You must purchase your ticket to reserve your seat. A 4 guest minimum is required or the class may be rescheduled. In the event of cancellation, you will receive a full refund. We do have a 6 guest max so sign up today and reserve your seat. 

When this class is full a second class will be scheduled.
