MCID is an IHRA-sanctioned 1/8 mile dragstrip. They utilize a Compulink timing system. They have 5 different classes of Bracket racing and host a few special events throughout the summer. Friday gates open at 6:00 pm and spectator admission in only $2.00. Saturday/Sunday gates open at 10 am and 11 am respectively. Adult spectator admission is only $8 all day. Children 6 and under are always free.

MCID are located on the east side of the North Dakota State fairground. Their main gate in toward the North side of the Commercial 3 building. Their season usually runs from May through September. Drag Racing doesn’t require a special fancy race car or modification and they encourage everyone to come out and give it a try. Prospective racers can speak to the MCID staff for pointers on getting started.
