Old Soo Depot Transportation Museum

The Old Soo Depot Transportation Museum and Western History Research Center is now housed in the handsomely restored 1912 Soo Line Depot.

The museum focuses on the history of transportation in the American West including railroads, automobiles, buses and aviation. Permanent exhibits include BNSF, Amtrak, Great Northern Railway, Milwaukee Road, Northern Pacific Railway, Soo Line/Canadian Pacific, Railway Express Agency and Westland Oil Company. Many historic documents are also on display, including history books, map collections, school yearbooks, periodicals and city and telephone directories.Museum/research center in restored 1912 Soo Line Depot, one of the finest ever built. Museum focuses on transportation history.
