15 May An Abundance of Art! Summer “Art”ventures at the Taube Museum
(MINOT, ND) Looking for that summer activity to bring out the creativity in your children? The Taube Museum of Art is offering 24 art classes for children ages 2 and up. The first class is scheduled for May 31 & June 1 and classes run all summer through July 25th, so there is sure to be a class that will tempt your child to be inspired! Just to name a few of the classes, the Taube Museum is offering photography, beading, sculpture, watercolors, Sculpey, drawing, acrylic painting, three toddler classes, and three Art for Young Children classes, and even classes using recycled items!
Our Mixed Media Mania Art Camp is scheduled for July 30 – August 2 with two sessions to choose from: 9am – 12 pm or 1 pm – 4 pm. This camp is open to children ages 5 and up. Your child will Meet the Artist, Be the Artist by exploring sculpture with Constantin Brancusi, creating tin boxes like James Rizzi, and metallic painting like Gustav Klimt. They will work with plaster, wood, gel pens, metallic paints, collage materials, and so much more!

Museum and gift shop hours are Tuesday – Friday 10:30 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. There is no charge for admission, but contributions are accepted to help the Taube Museum fulfill their mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.
