20 Sep Rock the Leaves Music Festival
This weekend is going to be jam packed with live music, free food, family-friendly fun and so much more! The 7th Annual Rock the Leaves Music Festival kicks off tomorrow (12-10pm) at the Scandinavian Heritage Park and continues Sunday (12-5pm) and Monday at the Minot State University Dome where the band Switchfoot will perform at 7pm.
Beyond the two stages featuring live music at the Scandinavian Heritage Park, there will be a variety of other fun activities both Saturday and Sunday! Arrive early to grab some free food at the picnic shelter from noon-2pm (while supplies last). You’ll also want to take part in the fun Gnome Scavenger Hunt (2-8pm) for a chance to win some prizes. There will also be lots of fun things for the kids including face painting and inflatables!
To quench your thirst, Beaver Brew Cafe will have a mini cafe set up and the Moose Lodge will be selling freshly squeezed lemonade. If you’re still hungry or arrive late, there will be several food trucks (including The Wife’s Kitchen) nearby as well. Admission to the festival is only $5 for both days and free for kids under 7. Also, if you purchase (or present) Switchfoot tickets, you will be able to get in for FREE!
