22 Nov Downtown Minot Olde Fashioned Open House
With the recent snow fall, it’s really beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Minot! The Christmas tree was delivered downtown and the “elves” are hard at work decorating and preparing for the upcoming holiday festivities.
If you’re looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit, we recommend that you join the Downtown Association for their annual Downtown Minot Olde Fashioned Open House on Friday, November 29th from 3-8pm. Come get your photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus by Deanna Jundt Photography, enjoy a hayride by Patrick Edison and enjoy special entertainment by The 5 of Us! If you’re looking to squeeze in some more holiday shopping, there will be many store specials throughout the day as well.
There will also be vendors on the street giving away a variety of yummy food and drinks. Coupons for downtown merchants will be available at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites, The Four Points Sheraton, The Vegas and The Noble Inn. You can also grab a slice of pizza with Santa starting at 5:00pm at the Taube Museum of Art. Special comments will begin at 5:45pm followed by the lighting of the tree promptly at 6pm. Special thanks to Frances and Rosella Pfeifer for donating the beautiful tree. A big thank you also, to TC Nursery, Real Builders and SRT for their magnificent work in displaying the tree for the community to enjoy.
