09 Jan All My Sons: Ticket Giveaway
If you’re not familiar, Mouse River Players is an all-volunteer community theater organization located in Minot, ND. Since 1971 they have been dedicated to providing high quality, live performances to the community and are currently gearing up for their upcoming production of All My Sons.
All My Sons is a 1947 play by Arthur Miller and is one of his best-known plays next to Death of a Salesman. Based on a true story, it’s a searing look at corporate politics and family relationships. Ryan Haider (who plays former soldier, Chris Keller) says the depth of his character and the range of emotions expressed throughout the script really drew him to this role. He believes the audience will really enjoy the drama and intricacies amongst the characters. He also warns that due to the mature themes, the play is really geared towards an adult audience and may not be suitable for children.
The production will run January 16-18th at 7:30pm and January, 19th at 2:00pm at the Arlene Theater (115 1st St SE in downtown Minot). The box office opens one hour before the performances and tickets are $10 at the door (cash or check only). To ensure your seats, reservations are recommended and can be made by phone (1-866-667-1977) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We’d like to treat one lucky reader to a night out in Downtown Minot complete with dinner for two at 10 North Main ($50 gift card) and two tickets to see the show (you pick the day)! To enter for a chance to win dinner and tickets to the show, please leave a comment below letting us know why you would love a night out on the town. A winner will be selected and notified via email on Wednesday, January 15th.
