22 May Summer “Art” Ventures at the Taube Museum
Looking for that summer activity to bring out the creativity in your children? The Taube Museum of Art is offering 28 art classes for children ages 2 -14. The first class is scheduled for June 4th and classes run all summer through July 25th, so there is sure to be a class that will tempt your child to be inspired! Just to name a few of the classes, the Taube Museum is offering Art Fashions, Superhero’s, puppets, sculpture, watercolors, Sculpey, drawing, acrylic painting, three toddler classes, and three Art for Young Children classes, and even classes using recycled items!
Our Sculpt It, and They Will Come Art Camp is scheduled for July 28 – 31, with two sessions to choose from: 9am – 12 pm or 1 pm – 4 pm. This camp is open to children ages 5 and up. Your child will Meet the Artist, Be the Artist bycreating paper sculptures by Picasso, skin sculptures by Willem de Kooning, and mixed media sculpture by Niki de Saint-Phalle, cardboard creations by James Castle! They will work with paper, paint, oil pastels, Model Magic, permanent markers, numerous collage materials, and so much more!
