A Mother’s Tea Party

Mothers bring your children, children bring your mothers to A Mother’s Tea Party at the Carnegie Center in Downtown Minot Saturday, May 2nd.

MothersTea Party

There will be two seatings available – the first beginning at 10 a.m. caters more to mothers with young children, ages 2 to 11. On the children’s menu you will find unique items, such as: chicken noodle with cheese & herb scone, fruit bowls, mac & cheese cups, pb & j sushi rolls and rice krispy bites dipped in pink chocolate. For the adults, a creamy tomato dill, cheese & herb scone, fruit bowls, wedge salad bites, sesame-ginger chicken rolls and an upside down teacake. The 1 p.m. seating will feature only the adult menu. A variety of teas and punches will be available to drink.

A garden themed party, with an abundance of flowers, butterflies and a soft, elegant feel will give your princess a taste of elegance. While not required, attendees are encouraged to dress up in tea-party outfits and hats. Following the meal, guests will be able to browse special “shops” set up by LuLu Lane, Mainstream Boutique and Gourmet Chef that will feature women’s and children’s clothing and merchandise for the kitchen chef. Activities, like headband making, will also be set up along the way.

Advance ticket purchases are required by May 1st. Tickets are $25 and are available at LuLu Lane. Visit Minot has two pairs of tickets to giveaway to each seating. Tell us about your special guest and which session you would like to bring them to and you will be entered in a drawing for a pair of tickets. (Winners will be selected and notified by email on Thursday, April 30th.)Tea Party Morning Session
