Halloween Activities for Kids

When you live in North Dakota, Halloween doesn’t always happen in Fall weather. Get out of the cold with your kiddos and enjoy Halloween activities indoors. Here’s a list of some of the places you can take your little astronaut, fairy, or ghost to trick-or-treat and have fun.

Halloween Fun Night at the YMCA – OCT. 26

There will be games, candy, a haunted house, fun and more! Food will be available! Come dressed in your favorite costume and join the fun!

Boo at the Zoo – OCT. 27

Wear your costume and bring your basket for terrific treats and fall-themed enrichment fun!

-$2 for RPZ members & $3 for non-members

Skate & Scare – OCT. 27

Minot Parks & The Maysa will be hosting a movie night at the Pepsi Arena!
– Hocus Pocus will be playing during the skate
– Skate from 6-8pm
– Movie starts at 6:30pm
-Costumes are allowed
– $4 to skate / $4 for skate rentals

Trick or Treat at Dakota Square Mall – OCT. 31

Join Dakota Square Mall and its over 85 tenants for indoor trick or treating! Enjoy a convenient environment with our participating retailers!
This event is for children ages 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Make an evening out of it! Pick up dinner at one of the mall’s eateries and then let your ghosts & goblins get their treats!

Community Halloween Party at the Auditorium РOCT. 31

Annual indoor trick or treating event! Avoid the cold and join the Minot Optimist Club and the Minot State University Science Beta Gamma Phi Club for safe trick or treating.
