ONLY THE BEST COME NORTH

Only the Best Come North is more than a motto at Minot Air Force Base—it’s the mission. Minot AFB is home to the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Missile Wing, making it the only installation in the Department of Defense to operate two legs of the Nuclear Triad. This critical mission has been active since 1957, and modernization efforts continue to strengthen the base’s role in national defense. Team Minot maintains 24/7/365 readiness, carrying forward a legacy that proves why only the best come north.
