First District Health Unit Food Safety Training
All persons who work as food employees within First District must take an approved food safety course every 3 years.
This includes:
• all management and supervisory staff prior to managing or supervising employees.
• all non-management or non-supervisory employees within 30 days of hire date.
• any employee working in a mobile food establishment: prior to performing any food handling tasks in the establishment.
Must pre-register for event.
Fee is $15 (non-refundable)
Certification is good for 3 years (must complete and pass exam)

ALL IN-PERSON CLASSES MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 10 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS
