The event is designed to inspire the next generation of music lovers while honoring the symphony’s century-long tradition of enriching the community through education and live performance.\nAbout the Artist\nA proud North Dakota native\, Max Patzner describes himself as “a real-life North Dakota artist\, writer\, and musician.” For over 15 years\, Max has performed across the country with his folk-rock band Wild Hands\, releasing five studio albums and earning features on Paste Magazine’s Daytrotter sessions and Prairie Public Television. Max published his first children’s book\, Wild & The Animal Band\, in 2020 and has since written several North Dakota-inspired titles. Beyond the page\, Max’s vibrant murals can be found throughout Minot and across the state\, including the Minot Symphony Orchestra’s own mural\, painted in the fall of 2025 in downtown Minot.\nFamilies are encouraged to attend for a cozy morning of storytelling\, creativity\, and connection.\n\nThe event is free and open to the public
