The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train will soon set out once again to entertain hundreds of thousands of people, celebrating 21 years of collecting food and raising funds for food banks across North America.
The CP Holiday Train program launched in 1999 and has since raised more than C$15.8 million and gathered 4.5 million pounds of food for communities along CP's routes in Canada and the United States. Every pound and dollar raised at each stop stays with the local food bank to help feed those in need in that community.

Meghan Patrick is one of the most exciting country artists today. In addition to her two year reign as the CCMA Female Artist of the Year, Meghan has been nominated for 8 CCMA awards including Album of the Year nominations for both of her studio albums. She recently received Juno Award nominations for Country Album of the Year and Breakthrough Artist.
Since emerging on the international scene in 2017 with her debut Soul Run, Tanika Charles has revealed herself to be one of the best kept secrets in soul music. Both on stage and off, Toronto-based Charles presents an immutable charm, at times endearingly abrasive and honest in her vulnerabilities. Tanika returns in 2019 battle tested and ready to reveal the latest chapters of her life since graduating from local favourite to international success.
Celebrating a long lineage of a very musically inclined family, the third-generation singer grew up in an award-winning studio where she was able to hone her craft of song writing. Penning such fan favourites as ‘Carryin' Coal’ and ‘Coming Home To You (ft. Buddy Miller)’, her new music expands on her talent and unique vocals to reveal tracks like ‘Who Gets The Church’ and ‘Leavin’ Her’, which was released worldwide June 8th.
**** TICKETS ****
All events are free. We just ask event attendees to bring money or a heart-healthy donation for their local food bank.
****WHAT TO DONATE****
CP is also encouraging fans of the train to donate heart-healthy food, as everyone should have access to healthy, nutritious food, regardless of circumstances. This supports the mission of CP Has Heart, a program dedicated to improving the heart health of men, women and children in North America. To date, this program has raised over C$19 million for cardiac care and research.
