Sleep Inn & Suites 2400 10th St SW, Minot, ND 58701
“Freezin’ for a Reason!”
The 8th annual Polar Plunge is back in Minot. The Polar Plunge is an annual fundraiser organized by local Law Enforcement and community volunteers to raise awareness and support for Special Olympics North Dakota. This cool event offers a great opportunity for individuals, organizations, schools, and businesses to support Special Olympics, by "Freezin' for a Reason" in the chilly North Dakota waters! Have FUN! - form a team, create a fun name and crazy costumes with friends, co-workers, or classmates. No matter what we are about good times at the official party of winter.
For more details visit: https://specialolympicsnd.org/
There is no registration fee but Plungers are required to raise a minimum $75 in donations and earn great incentive prizes, while showing the same bravery our athletes show on a daily basis. Register today and get started on your fundraising efforts!
You can register online until 11:59pm on March 14th or in person at Sleep Inn & Suites on March 15th at 11am-12:30pm.
Participants will enter the water starting at 12:30pm. Costumes are encouraged - be creative! All fundraisers will receive a long sleeved t-shirt and encouraged to join our Polar Plunge ceremony for contest prizes!
Thank you for your support of Special Olympics North Dakota events enjoyed throughout the year by our athletes!
