Ice Skating

Every year, during the season, Friends of the Souris maintains the Souris River for skating. A portion of the Souris will have a “winter path” groomed for leisurely enjoyment. This allows for the enjoyment of the beautiful Souris nearly year-round. Take in the breath-taking scenery while you enjoy nearly 2 miles of this groomed skating path. This path can be easily accessed across from the Roosevelt Park waterslide or across the street from the North park entrance.

NOTE: *Disclaimer by the Friends of the Souris* Skate the Souris at your own risk. Watch for conditions and clear markers that the path has been marked and cleared.*
