Roosevelt Park Zoo
Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, OH MY!
The Roosevelt Park Zoo was the first zoo in the state of North Dakota opening in 1920. The Minot Zoo features the only Reticulated Giraffes and African Black-Footed Penguins in the state. The Red Panda is a local favorite and can be seen climbing around the exhibit. The Zoo has over 200 animals consisting of 80 species within the 20+ acres estate. Roosevelt Park Zoo is located at 1219 Burdick Expressway East, the zoo hosts guests year round.
