The Poolest Spot in town.

Minot has a spot that’s perfect for those who want more than just a bar. The Spot is one of Minot’s best new-additions as it is the only pool hall in town. The Spot IMG_4423

The SpotThere is just no way to be board here. Cue the list: Besides the 26 pool tables– 18 of which are diamonds– the downtown destination has dart boards, old-school arcade games, a golf simulator, pull tabs, cornhole, a batting cage, blackjack and more; guaranteeing a good time.

The best part about The Spot is that the atmosphere calls for people to chalk up and interact with each other, versus just sitting a bar.

The Spot has a lot of opportunities for that interaction with all the entertainment inside and the events it puts on. You can participate in one of their weekly tournaments, or enjoy ladies night every Tuesday night, where ladies play for free from 6 p.m. until close. Also on ladies night, a pool pro will be walking around to give out tips and tricks, if you’re not already a pro.

Often a concern about going out in Downtown Minot is parking, but pocket this: The Spot has almost 100 spots, making it a great place to start the night. The spot is in walking distance to the other bars of the downtown Minot district.

The pool hall really isn’t about fancy drinks, but they do keep 18 beers on tap. We cannot say the name of The Spot’s specialty drink in this blog, but we recommend asking the bartender about it and giving it a try!

The Spot also hosts both pool and dart leagues for you locals who are looking for a past-time this winter.

The pool hall is working to make it’s customers have even more fun by hosting even more events. Coming up are themed “Thirsty Thursdays,”  and pub crawls that will have challenges for awesome prizes. For details visit The Spot’s Facebook Page.
