When the going gets tough my husband knuckles down and works twice as hard and never complains. We’ve been married almost 36 years and have never been out to dinner on Valentine’s day. This would be fun.

I would love to gift these tickets to my wonderful parents. Valentine’s Day is also their wedding anniversary. They both do so much for my family and for other people that they hardly ever get the time (or take the time) to relax and enjoy themselves. This would be a great gift for them to show them how much they are loved on their special day. Thanks so much Visit Minot for giving the minot community these awesome opportunities.

My lovely spouse and I will be married for 30 years this year. We have never really had a honeymoon yet. My wife has been a wonderful wife, friend and grandmother to her twin grandsons. It truly is amazing how she can balance her teaching career, wife, and grandmother. She usually does these things at the expense of her own time for hobbies she would like to do. She is the best valentine in the world.

I would love to win these tickets to take out my amazing husband. We have been together for 12 years and are more in love with each other every day. He works extra hard for our family to give me the opportunity to be a stay at home mom, and with the cost of things around here being a one income family isn’t always easy. I would love to be able to surprise my hard worker with a special valentines night out. He is my best friend and the love of my life. He always puts himself last so that our two daughters and I come first. Thank you for the opportunity to win. 🙂

To put it simply, I work full time traveling once a month, a week at a time which leaves my wife alone to take care of our two small children which would be fine if she was a stay at home mother but she works full time as well and does a great job with no complaining. She doesn’t get enough credit for how busy she is and this would definitely be an appreciated night out for her and I.

My husband deserves a night because he is going through a tough time right now. We moved back here to raise our son and gave up our life in sunny San Diego. He gave up surfing and the sun, everything that made him happy. He’s been so depressed with the cold and his toxic work environment. He’s lost how to be happy. I think he deserves a nice night with me.

We moved to North Dakota just a few short months ago,
Right on time to welcome all the cold and ice and snow!
Work has kept us busy, And our two young kids have too.
Finding time for Mom and Dad is sometimes hard to do.
On February 11th we will celebrate eight years
Of a truly happy marriage that we both hold very dear.
I’d love to show my husband just how much he means to me,
And this evening at the Taube sounds as perfect as can be.

Thank you “Visit Minot” for whomever you choose to bless with this gift!

We need a night out because we had a baby in December. Don’t get me wrong our girls mean the world to us, but all romance gets put on hold when you are covered in baby puke, up in the middle of the night, wiping noses and butts all day. My husband is an awesome dad who would be just as happy seeing me in sweatpants eating pizza however a night out would mean a lot to our marriage.

I would love to win these tickets! My husband and I celebrate our 8 yr anniversary on Valentines day! It will also be our first whole night away from our 3 children, in over 5 yrs, as a great friend of ours volunteered to babysit! My husband is the most amazing and hard working man I know! NEVER skips a day of work, even when he’s sick! I think this would be such a great way to reward him for working so hard to support his family. He truly deserves it! 😉

The love of my life and I have been married 11 years. We have 5 beautiful children. But have not seen a night out with each other in over a year. We don’t go out often and when we do it involves the kids more so. He works long hours and we don’t get to see him much. I would love to be able to go out with him and show him how much I appreciate everything he does for us. But we tend to prioritize our funding to the household and kids first so there’s not much wiggle room for anything for mom and dad to do things with. And we are okay with that. How nice would it be to share an evening together without any distreactions or worries?

My sweetheart of a husband deserves so much! He’s been working so hard at not only his full time job, but spends a majority of his off hours rebuilding our home that flooded in 2011! He puts his girls ahead of anything he wants to do! In April we will be celebrating our 10th year! I would love to take him to this, no only as a Thank you for everything you do, but also to start celebrating our 10 years a little bit early.

I would be perfect to win these tickets to present to my two best friends who live in Minot. I will be visiting that weekend and it would be the best gift to give them a wonderful romantic dinner together before he gets deployed for the 2nd time within a year. He’s an active duty airman there, he just returned before the holidays after being gone for 7 months, he’s leaving again at the end of this month for another 6-8 month deployment. They are eager to begin their family but the separation has made that a challenge! 😉 They have been so good to me and our family and supported us without hesitation when we needed friends, and I’d love a way to pay it forward for this beautiful couple- Timothy and Serena.

I would love to win these for my husband and I. We are both Active Duty in the Air Force and been married for 6yrs with a 2yr old daughter. We are on different schedules and usually only spend time with each other on the weekends. Having a nice dinner with each other would be a real treat.

My husband deserves a night out because he simply never takes a day off. This hard working man works at least 14 hours a day but still comes home and is a great husband to me and father to our 4 month old son. His dedication to his job and family is truely amazing and unheard of these days. He’s the man on my dreams and I would love to surprises him with such a fun date night out (since it will be our first night out since our little man was born)!

Would love a night with my hubby! We are newlyweds and celebrating our first valentines day actually together (2 years long distance) and as husband and wife. My husband Luke and I are both wine enthusiasts and would genuinely enjoy a red and white Valentine’s day. I have been blessed to have married my soulmate. We are both far from home (San Diego) but we have embraced Minot as our home since this is where our hearts now are. It’s difficult at times to get through the long Minot winters especially not being surrounded by the warmth of our families but we have learned to turn to each other to continue to share laughter and love each day. I would truly appreciate recognizing my amazing husband for all his hard work and his ability to keep my heart warm all winter long. Winning tickets to this wonderful event would bring more special Minot memories into our hearts!

My sweetheart would be my wife Vanessa. She deserves so much more than I could ever offer. She is the strongest woman I have ever known. She has stuck by me through my many deployments some as long as 2 years. She kept me strong when fighting for custody of my oldest son to get him out of a bad situation. She kept strong with our youngest son who is Autistic and just went through brain surgery to hopefully lessen and possibly stop his seizures. And now she is with me as we began a new chapter of our life as I am retiring from the Military. She is an awesome mom to all of our kids and even though my oldest has a different Mom, she treats him no different. In fact you would never know that he was her stepson. I can never in my lifetime thank her enough for everything she has done but this would be one way to show her just how much she is appreciated and loved. I Love you Vanessa, Always and FForever till the end..

We have three boys with disabilities, two of the three on school IEPs (this month we have two IEP meetings). In my spare time I help parents advocate. My husband and I swap work times so we don’t have to use chidcare, but this means we don’t see each other as often as we’d like. Having dinner out sans kids is a rare treat. Only happens a few times a year.

My husband and I met off Yahoo Personals (now as Yahoo owns 10 years ago and we have been married almost 2 years now. I feel that my husband deserves a night out as in 2011 (the year we got married) and in 2012, we had to give up a honeymoon and anytime to ourselves as my husband’s summers were spent rebuilding his mother’s house almost by himself from the flood. My husband isn’t one to complain and I feel with his contribution to the community that we deserve that one night honeymoon with dinner. Plus, we aren’t ones to celebrate Valentine’s Day because my birthday is the day after, so we need some romance and atmosphere to enjoy Valentine’s Day.
