In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Norwegian immigration to the United States, the Minot State University Choir is proud to present Crossings: Toward the Light, a concert exploring the rich heritage of Norwegian-American music.
This remarkable performance will feature works by celebrated composers such as Edvard Grieg, Adolphus Hailstork, and Damien Geter among others, along with the world premiere of three original songs by MSU alumna, visual artist, and photographer Rosanne Olson.
These compositions, arranged by MSU’s Director of Choral Activities, Emerson Eads, offer a captivating fusion of music and visual artistry.
The concert will take place on March 5th at 7:00 p.m. in Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.
While the event is free to attend, donations to support the choir’s travel expenses are greatly appreciated.
