Opens May 17th for Syttende Mai (Norwegian Constitution Day)
Explore the rich heritage of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland at the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot. Spanning 14 picturesque acres, this FREE park features a collection of historic buildings, statues, and monuments that bring Nordic traditions to life.
Buildings open from May through the end of September.
Highlights include:
- A full-scale replica of the Gol Stave Church, showcasing intricate medieval craftsmanship.
- A Norwegian stabbur (storehouse) and a log house from the 1770s.
- A fully functional Finnish sauna and an authentic Danish windmill.
- The iconic 27-foot-tall Swedish Dala Horse, a beloved symbol of Swedish culture.
Visitors can also enjoy the Heritage House Museum, additional monuments, and statues that add depth and context to the Nordic experience. The park is dog-friendly, welcoming leashed pets to join in the fun.
