Recognized as one of the best aviation museums in North Dakota, the Dakota Territory Air Museum is a top-rated attraction for families, history enthusiasts, and aviation buffs.

Explore two massive hangars filled with vintage aircraft, aviation artifacts, and historic equipment. The collection includes over 50 aircraft, many of which are flyable, offering a rare look at living aviation history. Highlights include iconic warbirds like the P-51 Mustang, Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX, and Douglas C-47, along with military jets and civilian planes from the 1920s through the 1980s. A full-scale replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer bridges the story of flight from its earliest days to the jet age.

The museum is home to the one of the most complete flying WWII collections in the U.S. Exhibits include both static displays and interactive experiences, making it engaging for visitors of all ages.

Educational programs, aviation summer camps, and annual events like Wings & Wheels are hosted at the museum. With ample free parking, ADA accessibility, and group tour options, the Dakota Territory Air Museum is a must-visit destination in Minot.
