Wildlife Adventures, Immersive Exhibits & Family Fun in Minot
Roosevelt Park Zoo is one of Minot’s top attractions, offering up-close animal encounters, immersive habitats, and exciting improvements that are shaping the future of the zoo. While some exhibits are temporarily closed during major upgrades, visitors can still enjoy year-round animal experiences — including winter rates and sneak peeks at what’s coming next.
Why visitors love it:
- Immersive big cat exhibits featuring lions and Amur tigers
- New African Plains exhibit with hand-feeding opportunities for giraffes
- Red pandas, sloth exhibits, and diverse animal habitats
- Family-friendly paths, wagon rentals & accessible entrances
- Sensory-friendly resources including sensory bags and noise-canceling headphones
The zoo is fully accessible with wheelchairs available and welcoming spaces for all visitors. In summer 2025, a litter of four critically endangered Amur tiger cubs was born — an exciting milestone for conservation efforts.
Roosevelt Park Zoo is proudly accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), a distinction held by fewer than 10% of animal exhibitors nationwide, reflecting its commitment to high standards of animal care, conservation, and guest experience.
From immersive exhibits to hands-on encounters and ongoing enhancements, Roosevelt Park Zoo is a must-visit attraction in Minot for families, animal lovers, and visitors of all ages.
