Roosevelt Park Zoo is undergoing major improvements to bring you even more amazing animal experiences in the years to come! While some exhibits are temporarily closed, you can still visit your favorite animals at winter rates and get a sneak peek at what’s next. A litter of four critically endangered Amur tiger cubs were born in the summer of 2025.

Highlights include immersive big cat exhibits with a lion pride and Amur tigers, red pandas, a sloth, and the chance to hand-feed Reticulated Giraffes at their new African Plains exhibit. With accessible entrances and wheelchairs available, the zoo ensures a welcoming experience for all visitors. Wagon rentals are also available for kids. The Roosevelt Park Zoo also offers sensory bags, including noise-canceling headphones and fidgets, to ensure a comfortable experience for sensory-sensitive visitors, enhancing accessibility for all.

Roosevelt Park Zoo is proud to be accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), a distinction held by fewer than 10% of animal exhibitors nationwide. This accreditation reflects the zoo’s commitment to the highest standards of animal care, conservation, and guest experience

Explore year-round exhibits and get a sneak peek with 360-degree images of some incredible habitats.
