The Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a candidate forum for the six candidates running for three spots on the Ward County Commission. Incumbents Shelly Weppler and Jim Rostad are running along with Ashley Gulke, Jedidah Radar, Miranda Schuler and Ron Merritt.

The forum will be held at the Minot City Hall Council Chambers and can be seen on both the city and Chamber EDC social media pages and the city’s You Tube channel. The forum will feature moderator Mark Lyman, Economic Development Specialist from the Chamber EDC, asking questions of each candidate. The public can also submit questions in person or online. The forum will begin at 4 p.m. and wrap up by 6 p.m. if all questions have bene answered. Thank you to the City of Minot for providing the council chambers for these forums. The November election is set for November 5.
