Volunteers meet weekly to prepare for search & rescue, emergency response, aerospace education, and cadet training. Visit us Tuesday evenings, upstairs at Avflight, at 6:30 pm or contact us for more information about our local programs.

Cadets can join as early as age 12 to take part in leadership, emergency response, and aviation training. Scholarships may be available for applicable training activities.

Founded in 1941 and established as the official civilian auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force seven years later, Civil Air Patrol is chartered by Congress as a nonprofit organization for the purposes of youth development, aerospace education, and to promote general aviation.
