National Public Works Week

The City of Minot will celebrate National Public Works week from May 19-25, including a special open house at the Public Works building, TBA. Activities and prizes will be on site as well as the department’s various pieces of large and small equipment will be on display and employees will be available to answer questions from the public.
There are many different departments that make up Public Works, and our employees have many responsibilities. Meet your neighbors!
The American Public Works Association has sponsored National Public Works week since 1960 to educate the public on the importance of public works to their daily lives, including planning,
building, managing, and operating the heart of their local communities to improve everyday quality of life.
