Pocket Park Ice Rink – Citizens Alley

Glide on the ice below twinkling lights at this “pocket-sized” ice rink in the heart of Downtown Minot. Citizen’s Alley is the ideal place for a unique, seasonal experience straight out of a cheesy Christmas movie. The rink size is perfect for pleasure skating, little kid hockey, date night, or family skating.

Souris Valley Golf Course

The sledding hill at Souris Valley Golf Course provides sloping hills to fly down on a sled or a tube on a winter day. Kids will love speeding down the slope through the crisp air on a snowy afternoon. Tube rentals are available on-site on select days. Other spots for sledding can also be found around town.

Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Skiing

Trek through snow to enjoy all of Minot’s winter wonderland is the perfect way to get out and explore while snowshoeing and cross-country skiing right inside city limits at Souris Valley Golf Course, Oak Park, and Bison Plant. Trails are maintained through the winter by the Minot Parks District. Gear can be rented at the Corbett Field Warming House.
